We’re Aubrey Huber, PhD, and Chris McRae, PhD—a communication and writing team supporting organizations and professional teams working with complex, high-stakes communication.

Our work focuses on helping people structure ideas clearly so they can be understood, applied, and communicated effectively in real-world settings.

Our Background

We bring over 30 years of combined experience in higher education, communication, and writing development.

Our work includes:

  • designing and facilitating communication training for professionals and organizations

  • published books in communication

  • faculty development and mentoring in higher education

  • guiding doctoral students and early-career scholars through writing and publication processes

One of us is also represented by a literary agent for a nonfiction project focused on communication and storytelling.

Our academic training is grounded in performance studies and communication, which shapes how we think about structure, audience, and clarity in all forms of communication.
